Building Canadian pharmaceutical capability for global markets

Raised Pharma is a Canadian pharmaceutical and natural health product company with operations in Canada, the USA and India, serving clients across Canada, the United States, the European Union and the GCC. The business runs on three connected lines: we develop and sell our own products, we act as a contract development and manufacturing partner (CDMO) for third-party brands, and we provide regulatory consulting and product registration in the markets we operate in.

We are now seeking investment and strategic partners to expand that platform — broadening our research and development programme, upgrading our manufacturing site and equipment, and growing the registered product portfolio we can supply into North America and the Gulf.

How the Business Earns

Four revenue lines that reinforce one another. The same laboratory, quality system and regulatory team serve all of them, so capacity added in one line raises capability across the others.

Our own products

We develop, register and sell our own pharmaceutical, natural health and cosmetic products — including our consumer skincare brand, Raised Inno. Owning the formulation and the licence means we keep the margin rather than earning a service fee on it.

Contract development & manufacturing

We act as the CDMO for pharmaceutical manufacturers, healthcare brands and supplement companies — formulation, stability, sourcing, scale-up and supply, under the client's brand.

Regulatory consulting & registration

Product registration and licensing across Canada, the USA, the EU and the GCC. A specialist service with high barriers to entry, and the route through which many manufacturing clients first come to us.

Technology transfer

Moving validated products and processes between sites and across borders, with the documentation, method transfer and regulatory notification that a transfer requires.

Where Investment Is Directed

Six programmes. They are sequenced rather than simultaneous — facility and equipment first, because registration and commercial scale-up depend on them. Detailed costings, phasing and projections are shared privately with qualified investors.

01
Research & Development expansion

Additional formulation development capacity, a wider set of dosage-form platforms, and a funded pipeline of our own products taken through development to registration. R&D is where the long-term value sits: each own-brand product that reaches licence becomes an asset we control rather than a project we bill for.

Scope Formulation development capacity · new dosage-form platforms · own-product pipeline · pre-formulation and stability programmes

02
Manufacturing facility upgrade

Expansion and fit-out of manufacturing areas to meet current GMP expectations across the markets we register in — controlled production and packaging areas, HVAC and pressure cascades, purified water systems, and properly segregated material and personnel flows. Facility standard is what determines which markets we can supply.

Scope Area expansion and fit-out · HVAC and clean utilities · water systems · material and personnel flow · warehouse and quarantine areas

03
Equipment upgrade & added capacity

Renewal and expansion of processing, packaging and utility equipment, with the qualification work (IQ, OQ, PQ) that has to accompany it. Newer equipment lifts batch size, shortens changeover, tightens process control and reduces the rejection rate — each of which shows up directly in cost per unit.

Scope Granulation, blending, compression and encapsulation · liquid and semisolid processing · primary and secondary packaging · equipment qualification

04
Analytical & QC laboratory

Instrumentation, method development and validation capability, and stability chambers covering the climatic zones our markets fall into. An in-house analytical laboratory removes a dependency on third-party testing that currently sits on the critical path of every project.

Scope Analytical instrumentation · method development and validation · stability chambers · microbiology capability

05
Regulatory portfolio expansion

Funding additional product registrations across the GCC, the United States and the EU. Every registration is a durable asset: it takes time and money to obtain, it does not expire quickly, and it creates a defensible position in a market a competitor then has to re-enter from the beginning.

Scope GCC registrations · US market entry · EU registrations · portfolio maintenance and variations

06
Commercial scale-up & market access

Distribution and market-access work to convert registered products into sales — appointing partners, establishing supply routes into the Gulf and North America, and building the commercial function to support them.

Scope Distribution partners · Gulf and North American market entry · supply chain · commercial team

Why We Are Raising Now

The drivers we see in the markets we already operate in. Supporting figures and our own performance data are provided directly to investors under confidentiality.

Outsourced development is the norm, not the exception

Brand owners increasingly buy formulation, regulatory and manufacturing capability rather than build it. That is the market a CDMO sits in, and it is the reason a mid-sized, responsive partner can win work that larger contract manufacturers will not take on.

The Gulf is localising pharmaceutical supply

GCC states are actively encouraging local manufacture and registration rather than pure import. A company that already holds the regulatory pathway into Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain is positioned for that shift — and Raised Pharma already works in all six.

Natural health products keep growing in North America

Demand for supplements and natural health products continues to expand in Canada and the USA, and the regulatory bar for them keeps rising. Both trends favour a developer who can handle the formulation and the licence together.

Regulatory complexity is a moat

Every additional market adds a different classification, dossier and evidence expectation. That complexity is a cost for brand owners and a barrier for new entrants — and it is precisely the capability we sell.
